The Boys & Girls Club of Dayton serves youth members ages 5-18 (kindergarten through 12th grade).

We provide FREE after school and summer program.

Field trips may have an additional cost.

Monday – Thursday, 2:30pm – 7:30pm
Friday, 2:30pm – 6:00pm

Summer Camp Hours

Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 4:00pm

Ensuring the safety of young people at Boys & Girls Club is always our top priority. Youth who are mentally and physically safe are better able to learn, grow, and thrive. We work every day to create a safe, fun environment so kids can have every opportunity to be successful in life.

We work together with Boys & Girls Clubs of America to create culture of safety and continuously enhance our safety policies, practices, and trainings to ensure they are centered on youth’s needs.

These safety policies and guidelines include:

• Staff members participate in ongoing safety trainings and supervision of staff to include; seminars, conferences and webinars
• We require mandatory criminal background checks every year for every staff and board member and every volunteer
• We require mandatory reference checks on every employee
• We remain in compliance with state and local laws
• We annually review our employee manual and health, safety and transportation policies
• All employees are mandated reporters, by law
• Facility and safety inspections are performed regularly and we perform and record Boys & Girls Clubs of America mandatory annual safety assessments
• We do not tolerate inappropriate behavior of any kind to include child sexual abuse and misconduct
• Our Clubs provide safety, mentorship and a sense of community
• Mandatory Background Checks: Mandatory criminal background checks are required every year for every staff and board member at Boys & Girls Club of Dayton. In addition, criminal background checks are required for any volunteer who has direct contact with children in accordance with Ohio law.
• Required Immediate Reporting: Boys & Girls Club of Dayton’s staff and volunteers are all mandated reporters. We are required to report any critical incident/safety concern to local authorities immediately. We are also required to report any critical incident to Boys & Girls Clubs of America within 24 hours.
• Mandatory Annual Safety Assessments: We complete a safety assessment each year to ensure we continually make improvements to safety at our Club.
• Safety Trainings: Ongoing training and supervision of staff is critical. We participate in a wide variety of child safety training conducted such as seminars, conferences and webinars. We also engage leading third-party safety experts to provide guidance for our policies and approaches, including Zero Suicide and Trauma Informed Care experts.

The Boys & Girls Club of Dayton provides healthy meals and snacks to children, at no cost during out-of-school time and summer while also supporting educational and enrichment programs that keep children learning, engaged and safe, because it’s hard to learn and grow when you’re hungry.

The Boys & Girls Club of Dayton offers innovative and evidence-based programs designed to empower youth to excel in school, become good citizens and lead healthy, productive lives.

At the Club, we follow a proven model for success. Research shows that kids and teens who have an optimal Club experience are more likely to have positive self-esteem, be engaged in school and learning, and volunteer in their communities. Our youth development professionals provide young people with safe spaces, deeply impactful programs, and key resources to help them achieve academic success, make healthy life choices, and reach their full potential.

Every day, our kids do the things in this “home away from home” that will ultimately make a difference in their lives. They do their homework, take care of their body & physical well-being, and help build stronger communities. We help them learn, grow and move forward with determination toward high school graduation and a plan for the future.
