Life and Workforce Readiness Center
At the Boys & Girls Club of Dayton, our new Life & Workforce Readiness Center is designed to empower teens with the skills, certifications, and confidence they need to succeed in the careers of tomorrow. This state-of-the-art facility will provide our youth with unique opportunities to explore diverse career pathways, earn certifications, and gain hands-on experience in fields such as health sciences, hospitality management, digital transformation, traditional trades, college preparation, and military readiness.
Giving Our Teens Access to Opportunity
At the Boys & Girls Club of Dayton, we believe in preparing our youth for bright futures filled with opportunity. The Life & Workforce Readiness Center will be a hub where teens can dream big, build skills, and take their first steps toward achieving their goals. This is more than just a facility—it’s a launching pad for their future success! With career exposure opportunities beginning as early as age six in the new Club, Club members will explore various pathways that align with their interests, including:
Industry Clubs
Kindergarten – 8th Grade

Entrepreneurial & Life Skills Services
High School
When they reach high school our young people will move on to the next step on the path where they will be taught valuable life skills in financial literacy and job readiness. They will also have access to career launch toolkits, business acumen, drivers education, and a teaching kitchen.

With 30-40 Club members per cohort, this track equips our young people with the tools, mentorship, and confidence to shape their futures on their terms.
